COLOR THEROY

COLOR THEORY

1. WHAT IS THE COLOR THEORY?

 Color theory is a framework that informs the use of color in art and design, guides the curation of color palettes, and facilitates the effective communication of a design message on both an aesthetic and a psychological level.
Color palettes are curated sets of colors that work well together. They're essential in design, art, fashion, branding—basically anytime you want visual cohesion. There are different types of palettes depending on how the colors are chosen and the mood or effect you're going for.
Which is the side which is makes to you find out the color palettle

What are the different types of color palettes?

ANALOGOUS

An analogous color scheme is formed of three colors that are located next to each other on the color wheel. Analogous color palettes are commonly used when no contrast is needed—for example, on the background of web pages or banners.

An analogous color palette

near by color mean local
technical :; the color which stands only +60 to -60 degrees

Does the every color have single analog color ?

 ANSWERS: No they have multiple analog color but they have single complement color

COMPLEMENTARY

Complementary color palettes are comprised of colors that are placed in front of each other on the color wheel. While the name may suggest otherwise, complementary color palettes are actually the opposite
for complementary have single color in its opposite in the term we can tell opposite color means the color is in 180 at degree different is called complement color we find this in palettle

A complimentary color palette

Monochromatic

                                Monochromatic

mono means single             chromatic means color design

SINGLE

IN SINGLE WE HAVE DIVIDED INTO TWO TYPES

       SHADES                                                                TINT

SHADES ::

When every we mix the color with the black from the shade

EX :: RED + BLACK = MARRON

marron is the shade of red  color

TINT

When every the color mic vith white the it from tint of the color
EX ::  RED + WHITE = PINT
Pink is the tint of the red color

A popular choice with designers, monochromatic color schemes are formed using various tones and shades of one single color.

 all together  is called mono chromatic

TRIADIC

triadic color scheme is based on three separate colors that are equidistant on the color wheel. Most designers employ the triadic color scheme by choosing one dominant color, and using the other two colors as accents. 120 degree

triad

Commonly used by more experienced designers, the tetradic color scheme employs two sets of complementary pairs—four colors from the color wheel in total that should form a rectangle when connected. While it’s a little harder to balance, it makes for a visually stunning end effect!

Adobe Color

Poised as the “bread and butter” resource for all digital creatives, Adobe Color has just about every color palette out there. Compared to other color scheme generators, Adobe Color is a lot more comprehensive—so don’t make it your go-to if you want something quick and simple. Among Adobe Colors’ key features is a color palette generator that pulls colors from the images you upload

COLOR THEORY PART - 2

Color theory is a fundamental concept in art, design, and visual communication. It explains how colors interact with each other and how they can be combined to create specific visual effects and moods. Here's a quick breakdown of the key elements of color theory

WHAT IS THE UNIT OF COLOR ?

Color doesn't have a single "unit" like length (meters) or weight (kilograms), but it can be measured or described using different systems depending on the context.

Here are the main "units" or systems used to define or measure color

Color is the language of the of the local term

In graphic design  we used degree in angles part

🌈 1. The Color Wheel

A visual representation of colors arranged according to their chromatic relationship.

Primary Colors

  • 🔴 Red

  • 🔵 Blue

  • 🟡 Yellow

These are the "building blocks" of all other colors.

WHAT IS A PRIMARY COLOR ?

the source color or mother color / base color is called primary color

 WHICH COLOR IS PRIMARY COLOR ?

the primary color differ from place to place

they are 3 types ::

1. printing press

2. computer screening color

3.manual drawing / water color

Model

                                  Use                          Case

Components

RGB

Digital Screens

                                   Red, Green, Blue

CMYK

                                              Printing

Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black

RYB                                       Manual drawing                       RED , YELLOW , BLUE

COLOUR PS MEASURED VITG UNIT CALLED " DEGREE "

                             "UINT = DEGREE"

The synonyms of color is called "HUE"

PRIMARY  COLOR ARE ::

RED : 0 DEGREEE
GREEN : 120 DEGREE
BLUE : 240 DEGREE

" DEGREE" Based on the information provided, the values for the primary colors Red, Green, and Blue in the given circle are:

Red value:
Green value:
120°
Blue value:
240°

The total degrees in a circle is 360°, and these values represent the proportions of each primary color within the circle. The calculation 360/3 = 120 is shown, which confirms that each segment (representing a primary color) is 120 degrees.

🟢🟣🟠 What Are Secondary Colors?

Secondary colors are created by mixing two primary colors together in equal parts.

🟢🟣🟠 The Secondary Colors

Secondary ColorMade By Mixing
🟠 OrangeRed + Yellow
🟢 GreenBlue + Yellow
🟣 Purple (Violet)  Red + Blue

🎨 Where Are They on the Color Wheel?

Secondary colors sit between the primary colors they are made from.
So:

  • Orange is between Red and Yellow

  • Green is between Yellow and Blue

  • Purple is between Red and Blue

  • Every 60 degrees color changes

MIXING OF COLOURS

if we remove all colors we get black

if RGB make white !
